Innovative Roofing Group’s Charitable LEED Project
for Ben Massell Dental Clinic

With the opening of the new Ben Massell Dental Clinic, patients will gain from the new technology and the improved clinical environment, including an additional pediatric dental suite. Previously located at 18 Seventh Street, the new location is 700 Fourteenth Street. Jewish Family & Career Services led a $4.25 million campaign (JF & CS is the parent organization and operator of the clinic, which also receives funds from The United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta) in order to make improvements that would allow the dental clinic to aid 40% more patients in need, or as many as 8,400. Innovative Roofing Group supported this endeavor by furnishing the new roof at cost. Jewish Family & Career Services committed to modeling the best environmental practices by achieving LEED certification for the clinic. LEED Certification (Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design) is the national standard for environmental building through integrated design, materials and systems. LEED extends the functional life of new buildings and thus costs less to maintain and repair in the long run.
